Thanks for all your comments about Marty.
I think he’s a keeper.
You’ll be happy to know, Mo, that I am hard at work still on The Gift. My recent fractures put me behind again, but I am one stubborn woman and writer. It will get finished!
Living at 7500 feet above sea-level is great in the summer, but gets old in the winter. Snow, snow, snow….
This is another photo by the brilliant Marty, of course.
Have a great day!
Love,

Hi Deb,
Its nice that you are getting in on the
blog thing. It makes it easier to talk
with our favorite author’s. So sad to
hear about the chocolate man. He
sounded scrumptious. LOL. It has
been snowing here off and on all day.
We finally got rid of the ice and snow
we got the middle of december and it
has to snow again. The weather man
says we shoudn’t get much accumulation this time. Well we can
only hope. I am so ready for summer,
well i guess we have to get through spring first. It’s nice to have a special
man friend as you get older. Wish I
had one. LOL.

It is rain and wind where I live—and lots of it.

I really like that snow is available with a drive of only an hour or less. I can get my fix, then come back to the dreary rain I love. Of course it makes my hair curl into something aweful.
When there’s a peek of sunshine, I run outside and try to get a dose of rays. That’s what I miss most about those snowy climes, the sun was so bright on all the white, it gave me a headache.
Hmmm…..

Ah, yes, Therese, I miss Portland. The best of both worlds. Live in the green and look at the snow-capped peaks. ::sigh:: Seriously, in a perfect world–meaning, with a winning lottery ticket–I would spend my winters in the rain and mist of the NW, and my summers at altitude in the Rockies, where I live now.
The summers here are truly wondrous.
